Enable USB Debugging

It is our responsibility to caution you that not all claims resulting or caused by or from the unlocking of the bootloader may be covered under warranty. Please note that unlocking your bootloader does not mean that you will be able to unlock the SIM lock. Unlocking your SIM lock is at the discretion of your operator/carrier and is not part of the bootloader unlocking scope.

Our devices have been designed with our hardware and software specifications in mind and unlocking the bootloader will change the software and may cause unexpected side effects. It is impossible for HTC to ensure the proper functioning of your device after this. In the worst case scenario, it is possible that your device may be physically damaged due to overheating or the behavior of your device might be altered including, but not limited to, hearing aid compatibility (HAC) and specific absorption rate (SAR) values.

Some content on your device may also be invalidated and cannot be accessed any more because of invalid DRM security keys. This includes content that you may have purchased through a 3rd party vendor and through HTC. Furthermore, although you will still be able to receive updates to your device via FOTA (“firmware over the air”), we do not guarantee that updating your device via FOTA will not render your device unusable. Please understand that you will not be able to return your device to the original state and going forward your device may not be held covered under the warranty for all claims resulting from the unlocking of the bootloader. HTC bears no responsibility if your device is no longer usable afterwards.

HTC is committed to assisting customers in unlocking bootloaders for HTC devices. However, due to some of our carrier customers concerns, certain models with specific restrictions may not be able to be unlocked. Please refer to our list of supported devices to see if your device is eligible for unlocking the bootloader.

We strongly suggest that you do not unlock the bootloader unless you are confident that you understand the risks involved. This is a technical procedure and the side effects could possibly necessitate repairs to your device not covered under warranty. Инструкция:

Включить USB отладку

1. Подключите устройство к компьютеру с помощью кабеля USB. Настоятельно рекомендуется использовать оригинальный кабель и подключить его к порту материнской платы.

How To Unlock Bootloader On HTC 10

This guide is to Unlock Bootloader on HTC 10 Smartphone. If you unlock bootloader you may void the warranty. By Unlocking Bootloader you can install TWRP, Flash Rooting Zip file or custom ROM on your phone. Read more What is unlocking below. Follow this guide on How to Unlock Bootloader on HTC 10. Try this only on HTC 10 smartphone. This method to unlock bootloader on HTC 10 is simple to follow. But plealse do read the steps below carefully.

A Bootloader is a code which runs when we turn on our device. This code initializes some hardware and then loads the kernel and ramdisk, and gets the boot process going. So this process is known as Bootloader. The same concept applies to all the technology stuff such as Laptop, PC, Smartphones and any such device. Every Android OEM manufacturers lock the bootloader even though it is an Open Source. So if you want to try any CUSTOM ROM, it is impossible to load the CUSTOM ROM without the Unlock Bootloader. So Manufacturer made a policy of making the smartphone with Unlocked Bootloader will void the warranty. They want you to stick with the Stock ROM. Unlock Bootloader allows you to Root your android smartphone, Flash TWRP and Custom ROM in a simple easy method.

1. Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%
2. Go to htcdev.com and Sign up/Register. (You can log in if you already have a Username and Password)
3. You will Loose warranty if you unlock bootloader, So prepare for it.
4. Unlock Bootloader may wipe all your data, So make sure to Backup your Smartphone.
5. Make sure you have followed the steps properly. Don’t Skip and Read ! – We are not responsible for any damage that you make to your phone.

• Download the following fastboot binary for your OS using the following links:

STEPS TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER ON HTC 10

1. First of all enable the Developer OptioTo Enable the Developer Option, Go to your Settings -> About -> Software Information -> More -> Now Tap on the Build Number 7-8 Times until you see a toast message “Developer option enabled“
2. Go back to settings -> Now you need to enable the OEM Unlockby going to Settings -> Developer Option and Enable OEM Unlock and USB Debugging
   
3. Now in your PC/Laptop, open the website called HTCDev.com and Put in your Username and Password to login. If you don’t have login ID, you can register anytime.
4. Once you logged in. Click the option Unlock Bootloader and click on “Get Started”.
5. Now Select your device – HTC 10 from the drop down (See Screenshot)
6. Once you click on Unlock Bootloader button, you will get a pop to continue and agree the legal terms before proceeding to unlock.
7. Download the ADB and Fastboot ZIP and Extract it on your computer
8. Also Download HTC Drive from above download link and install it on your PC/ Laptop
9. Download the Fastboot binary for your computer from HTC website or from above Download link of our website
10. Extract the Downloaded Fastboot Binary to your PC
11. Now connect your phone to Computer using USB Cable.
12. When you connect your Phone to Computer, please wait until all the drivers get installed.
13. Once your drivers are installed, make sure to move the adb fastboot (step 7) extracted files to the Downloaded Fastboot binary folder which you extracted in the step 9 and 10
14. In your fastboot binary folder open a command prompt window by pressing Shift Key + Right Mouse Click
15. Now type the command in your command window

If you see a pop up to allow USB Debugging on your phone, Click OK

Now type the command below to reboot your phone to bootloader

Once your phone reboot into bootloader, make sure your phone shows the bootloader locked with security S-ON, if it shows then type the command below to make sure fastboot drivers are installed properly.

Now Paste this string of text into the token field in HTCDev website and hit Submit in order to receive your unlock code binary file. You will receive this information in your email.

Once you unlocked you will have a pop up screen on your phone

Подготовьте компьютер, установите драйвера. Либо посетите официальный сайт, где скачайте актуальную версию драйверов.

Для установки драйверов из архива, включите телефон с использованием кнопок «питания» и «уменьшения громкости». После появления загрузчика, подключите аппарат к ПК и выберите режим Fastboot. Для выбора действия используйте кнопку «питания». На компьютере откройте диспетчер устройств, найдите смартфон, вызовите контекстное меню, где выберите «обновить драйвера». Укажите расположение ранее скачанных и распакованных драйверов. Телефон обязан определиться, как My HTC, а на экране появится надпись USB.

Зарегистрируйте учетную запись на сайте. Внимательно указывайте E-Mail, так как туда поступит письмо с кодом разлочки.

1. Выключите телефон, выньте, а затем снова установить аккумулятор. Если извлечение батареи не предусмотрено, в настройках меню отключите опцию «быстрая загрузка», а затем отключите устройство.
2. Включите телефон с использованием кнопок «питания» и «уменьшения громкости». После появления загрузчика, подключите аппарат к ПК и выберите режим Fastboot. Для выбора действия используйте кнопку «питания».

Из данной инструкции вы узнаете как разблокировать загрузчик (unlock bootloader) на смартфонах HTC при помощи официального способа.

Есть еще один куда более простой способ разблокировать Bootloader при помощи специальной программы HTC Bootloader Unlock (от создателей Kingo Android ROOT). О нем подробнее рассказано в этой статье.

Важно! При разблокировке загрузчика сотрутся все данные с внутренней памяти (СМС, контакты, приложения), поэтому сначала сделайте резервную копию.

Как разблокировать загрузчик HTC: инструкция

1. Скачайте и установите фирменную утилиту HTC Sync. Вместе с ней установятся драйвера.

2. Установите ADB (статья по теме: команды ADB). Для этого скачайте этот архив с установочным файлом.

3. Перейдите на сайт htcdev.com.

4. Вверху нажмите «Register» и пройдите процесс регистрации.

5. На почту вам придет письмо со ссылкой по которой вам нужно будет перейти для активации аккаунта.

6. Вверху сайта есть форма для входа. Залогиньтесь под созданным аккаунтом.

7. После этого откройте страницу htcdev.com/bootloader.

8. Справа в «Supported Devices» выберите вашу модель. В списке есть только новые устройства, поэтому если у вас более старый аппарат и он не отображается в списке, выберите «All Other Supported Models». Затем нажмите «Begin Unlock Bootloader».

9. В следующем окне подтвердите свой выбор.

10. Поставьте галочки и нажмите «Proceed to Unlock Instructions».

11. Затем появится инструкция на английском, которую мы переведем. Не закрывайте сайт HTC Dev!

12. Выключите устройство и достаньте батарею.

13. Затем зажмите и удерживайте клавиши «Громкость вниз» и «Включение».

14. Вы должны попасть в режим загрузчика.

15. Клавишами регулировки громкости вы можете перемещаться по меню. Перейдите к пункту «Fastboot» и нажмите кнопку «Вкл», чтобы выбрать этот пункт.

19. Теперь на компьютере нажмите сочетание клавиш «Win» + «R» и и введите «cmd» в окне «Выполнить». Затем нажмите «OK».

20. Отлично! Вы перешли в командную строку. Теперь введите следующее и нажмите «Enter»:

23. После этого у вас появится список из которого нужно скопировать фрагмент. Начинается он:

Чтобы скопировать что-либо в командной строке, нужно нажать правой кнопкой мышки и выбрать «Пометить». Затем выделите показанный ниже фрагмент и опять нажмите правой кнопкой, чтобы скопировать его.

24. Скопированный код вставьте в поле «My Device Identifier Token» и нажмите «Submit».

25. На почту, которая была указана при регистрации придет файл «Unlock.code.bin», который необходимо скачать на компьютер и поместить в папку ADB (C:/adb).

26. Далее в командной строке впишите следующую команду и нажмите «Enter»:

fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

27. После этого ваш телефон перезагрузится, а на экране появится вопрос «Unlock bootloader?». При помощи клавиш регулировки громкости выберите «Yes» и подтвердите свой выбор кнопкой включения.
